Description:

Perkins Eastman offers paid summer internship positions for students. Our college interns are offered a collaborative and congenial work environment with an opportunity to work on projects as fully integrated members of our design teams participating in learning sessions focusing on various aspects of delivering a success project for our clients. Participants will also enjoy the rich and diverse culture of the firm and the broader community through lectures, project tours and events.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems
  • Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support
  • Organize and maintain IT resources
  • Basic problem-solving including use of remote management systems.
  • Professional-level verbal and written communication including communicating effectively with audiences of varying levels of technical understanding.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems major
  • No prior work experience required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well in teams
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Normal office environment with moderate noise level, occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs., regular walking, sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and reaching.
  • Ability to perform consistent daily work on a computer.

Compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, location and education and typical salary ranges from $23.00 per hour to $25.00 per hour
