Description:

Perkins Eastman offers paid summer internship positions for students. Our college interns are offered a collaborative and congenial work environment with an opportunity to work on projects as fully integrated members of our design teams participating in learning sessions focusing on various aspects of delivering a success project for our clients. Participants will also enjoy the rich and diverse culture of the firm and the broader community through lectures, project tours and events.

Job Responsibilities:

Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems
Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support
Organize and maintain IT resources
Basic problem-solving including use of remote management systems.
Professional-level verbal and written communication including communicating effectively with audiences of varying levels of technical understanding.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems major
No prior work experience required.
Strong verbal and written communication
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work well in teams
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Normal office environment with moderate noise level, occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs., regular walking, sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and reaching.
Ability to perform consistent daily work on a computer.
