Perkins Eastman is seeking architects / architectural designers for the Boston office. The Architectural Designer is responsible for implementing project design.

We are an integrated firm which our professional roster consist of architects, interior designers, planners, urban designers, landscape architects, graphic designers, construction specification writers, construction economists, environmental analysts, resiliency experts, traffic and transportation engineers, and several other professional disciplines.

We are seeking exceptional Architectural Designers, with a minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience. The Architectural Designer collaborates with team members in the implementation and delivery of a projects design.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively in a dynamic office setting, contributing to all phases of planning, design and construction administration.

  • Collaborate in the development of designs using hand sketching, Revit, and other software.

  • Participate in the development of high quality construction bid documents

  • Review construction submittals and a log project data

  • Advance high performance aspects of design and systems coordination

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelorís or Masterís Degree in Architecture
  • 3 - 5 years of experience including academic projects

  • Proven experience in architectural document production and team coordination

  • Ability to develop, communicate, and present design concepts orally and graphically

  • Proficiency with Revit, Sketch-Up, and Adobe Creative Suite is required

  • Environmental analysis design software experience is a plus

  • Experience and interest in high performance architectural design

  • LEED Accreditation. WELL and PassivHaus certification is a plus
