ForrestPerkins, a distinct design studio of Perkins Eastman seeks a skilled and experienced marketing coordinator to work with the Principals and Business Development Leader to develop proposals and marketing materials. The Graphic Designer is a key contributor to the success of the ForrestPerkins brand and to helping to secure new projects through clear and compelling proposals and collateral. Storytelling is important to conveying our vision and brand and thus, clear and compelling written communication is a major differentiator for us and a vital part of the role.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with Studio Leaders and the Business Development Leader, support the brand’s business development strategy to meet the sales and strategic goals of ForrestPerkins.

  • Assist in developing the annual marketing budget and manage its implementation.

  • Track marketing opportunities, direct responses to RFPs, etc.

  • Review Requests for Proposals for new projects, review and evaluate the scope and proposal requirements and create a draft proposal along with supporting material for Principal level review.

  • Work closely with Perkins Eastman’s marketing and communications team on public relations initiatives.

  • Work closely with Studio Leaders and ForrestPerkins’ graphics team to tailor marketing materials to business development targets and initiatives.

  • Coordinate attendance and panel/speaking opportunities for principals/leaders and assist in planning auxiliary ForrestPerkins hosted events.

  • Work with design leaders to enter projects for industry competitions and awards.

  • Working with the graphic designer, assist in producing monthly e-blasts and a company newsletter to be sent to key contacts periodically.

  • Maintain data base of leads and clients

  • Update the Website as new projects are photographed.

  • Monitor Social Media accounts regularly.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior, Graphic, Fashion Design, Marketing, Communications or Business

  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years experience knowledge with hospitality design and architecture, key brands and brand leaders, owners and developers is a plus.

  • A strong interest in hospitality industry trends and a pulse on new openings and developments within the industry.

  • Enthusiasm and a love of travel.

  • Facility with Social Media and resources for design inspiration, lifestyle imagery, etc.

  • Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Microsoft Office and other graphic programs.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and writing skills including grammar and spelling.
