This position, for an Architect, will provide an opportunity to work with integrated design teams on projects of various sizes and complexity. The individual selected must possess the ability to react positively to a variety of design priorities, styles and project delivery methods. Primary Responsibilities:
Participate as a team member in developing the aesthetic and technical design, and the preparation of architectural design and construction documents including drawings and specifications.
Perform necessary construction administration services on the project.
Collaborate with the Principal in Charge, Project Architect and Project Manager.
Develop construction documents with some supervision from the PA or PM.
Participate in organizing the drawing and BIM modeling efforts.
Develop, check, and coordinate technical aspects of the design of projects, including compliance with Building and Life Safety codes and regulations.
Coordinate with consulting engineers documents and specifications.
Meet with client and maintain excellent rapport.
Follow and focus on established standards for project production and review.
Keep Project Manager and Principal in Charge informed of progress or the need for assistance.
Required Qualifications:
5 - 8 years of experience of working in an architectural firm is required. Work experience in an international practice is preferred, although not mandatory.
Knowledge and experience of working in Revit or any other BIM based software is an important pre-requisite.
The candidate should be either staying in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai or willing to re-locate to Mumbai/Navi Mumbai.
Bachelor or Masters (preferred) degree in Architecture (BArch/MArch).
Architecture license required.
LEED, EDAC or WELL accreditation is a plus.
Experience in attending construction progress meetings and making decisions on-site.
Experience in Educational projects is a plus.
Strong communication, graphic, organizational, technical, and written skills required
Demonstrated experience in and readiness to lead the technical interior details of projects.
Proficient with Revit, Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite/Affinity Creative Suite
Proficient with other software applications such as Bluebeam, PowerPoint, Enscape, Lumion, Word and Excel.
